“While giving a great nod to the past, (this) is indeed its own show worthy of its own audience”  - Chicago Review

The Blues Brother Revue is the hippest, most authentic Blues Brothers Tribute show ever to hit the stage. Officially sanctioned by the Belushi Estate and Dan Aykroyd, these guys aren’t messin’ around! Blues SANCTIONED stamp copy.jpg (624319 bytes)

After several years working from coast to coast in the award winning Las Vegas show “Legends in Concert”, they were approached by film maker Paul Jay of Jay Films about making a film based on their experiences working in “the city of sin” as the Blues Brothers. The outcome was A&E;s highly praised docudrama “lost in Las Vegas”.

“Lost in Las vegas” caught the attention of Victor Pisano and Judi Belushi Pisano who asked Wayne and Kieron if they would come to Chicago and audition for the ‘Official Blues Brothers Revuel’, a musical interpretation of the Blues Brothers, complete with an piece band and a gospel choir, which picks up where the original movie leaves off.

After auditioning dozens of ‘Blues Brothers’ tribute acts from all over America, they decided on Wayne and Kieron for the roles of Jake and Elwood. “We learned that day how hard it is to do what John and Dan did” says Judi Belushi Pisano, Some looked the part but nobody had the whole package until Kieron and Wayne arrived”.

The show opened in Chicago to rave reviews in April of 2004 with a star studded opening night including members of SNL, Second City, “Queen of the Blues” Koko Taylor, Shameka Copeland, Elwood himself Mr. Dan Aykroyd and the one and only Steve “the colonel” Cropper.

“I wish the rest of the band could be here seeing this” says Steve. “It was great I knew it  would be” says Judy.
With plans to open up two new shows in Myrtle Beach and Las Vegas, the blues Brothers Revue are keeping the legend of Jake and Elwood alive with there full throttle, pedal to the metal show.
