AMANDA
STOTT
In
the spring of 2006, Amanda joined Cirque Du Soleil show Delirium as a singer
on the North American tour. It was so exciting every night to be able to perform in
such a multifaceted production with inspiring visuals, musicians, singers, dancers, and
acrobats.
After
13 months of being on the road with Delirium, Amanda moved to Nashville to
further pursue her solo career. Place to Start Again is what came out of that
move. Working with Nashville Producer, Brian Hitt, Amandas independent release of
Place to Start Again was co-written with songwriters, Brian Hitt, Phillip
LaRue, Dustin Burnett, Shelly Johnson and LA based songwriters Billy Pace and Lindy
Robbins.
The
groundwork for the project was Amandas voice, piano and strings. I have always
loved the powerful combination of piano and strings and really wanted that to be the
musical foundation for this album. This new project reflects the faith that has
inspired her since she was a young child. My prayer is that God may use this music
to bring a message of hope and touch the listeners heart."
